This has been a standby of mine for breakfast lately. I have been alternating between this and bacon and eggs. It is soooo good. If you have been missing cream of wheat, you will be so happy you made this!
1/4 c flax seed meal
2 T natural peanut butter
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 pkt Splenda or liquid sweetener equivalent
1 T sugar free/ carb free pancake syrup (Walden Farms or similar)
1 T heavy cream
Put in a mug and slowly add boiling water until the consistency is like oatmeal (usually about 1/4 c). Mix, mix, mix, stir, stir, stir, add more water and stir again. Enjoy! Really sticks to the ribs!
Approx 370 cals, 30 g fat, 15 carbs minus 9.5 g fiber = 5.5 net carbs, 13 g protein.
