Creamy Baked Chicken

I don’t know where I got this recipe from either, but it was really good. Steph, did I get it from you??


So here’s what I did: I threw together about 2lb frozen chicken (I used the boneless breast tenders) with

1/4 cup heavy cream,

a few tablespoons olive oil,

1 cup shredded colby jack,

1/2 pkg cream cheese,

1/2 onion, chopped

about a tablespoon Johnny Salt

1 pkg whole raw mushrooms


Baked it with the lid on for 1 hr and 15 min, stirring halfway through.


The most tender, creamy chicken I’ve ever made! Didn’t really even need to pour much of the sauce on the chicken because it absorbed so much of the flavor already, just ate it with whatever sauce came with it onto the plate.


Served with steamed broccolli
